Red Sox announcer shaken up after being hit by wind-blown monitor
Crazy wind gusts wreaked havoc at Fenway Park on Saturday night and even sent announcer Jerry Remy home early with a bump on his head.
According to reports, Remy was struck on the head by a television monitor that blew off a shelf in the NESN booth. Fortunately, it sounds like Remy has avoided a serious injury, but he was still checked by doctors and then sent home to rest.

There was at least one report of a 43-mph wind gust during the first inning as a storm front approached the Boston area. Strong winds continued throughout the early innings, causing chaos for fielders as they attempted to gauge fly balls.
