Bo Jackson bobblehead features him at his bat-snapping best
Ah, Bo Jackson. Famous for his athletic prowess and breaking bats like they’re weak little toothpicks. There’s never been a player quite like Bo Jackson. And now there’s never been a bobblehead quite like the Bo Jackson bobblehead.
The Chicago White Sox are releasing a limited edition Bo Jackson bobblehead, with the proceeds going to support Chicago White Sox Charities. The bobblehead has Jackson intensely staring straight ahead, his hands gripping either side of a bat that’s been broken over his raised knee. And of course, the foot attached to that raised knee is sitting atop a football, because Bo crushes every sport. He even did some mugging with his miniature at the unveiling.
At the unveiling, Jackson talked about why a Bo Jackson bobblehead had to be just right.
Bobblehead dolls are cute, but you just can’t put a head on something and put No. 8 on it and put Jackson on it. You can’t do that. It has to be something special. So we made sure it was okay. If it passed my inspection, then it’s nice.
Jackson was having a lot of fun posing with all of the bobbleheads at the unveiling, so it obviously passed his inspection. In fact, it looks an awful lot like the iconic Bo Jackson moment featured in the video at the top of this post, so well done by everyone involved.
