Bengals waive Corey Tindal a week after he was robbed at poker game – NBCSports.com
It hasn’t been a great month for cornerback Corey Tindal.
Tindal was the victim of a robbery during a poker game in West Virginia last week and also took two blows to the head from the barrel of the pistol brandished by the thief, who had previously been playing in the game. At the time, Tindal could look forward to going to training camp with the Bengals and earning a job and paycheck with the team that would help him recoup what he lost.
That’s no longer the case, however. The Bengals announced Wednesday that they have waived Tindal, who signed as an undrafted free agent earlier this offseason.
The move leaves the Bengals with eight cornerbacks on the roster and with an empty spot to fill before training camp opens.
