911 call: Ex-OSU RB Bri'onte Dunn allegedly struck girlfriend
Dismissed Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn was involved in alleged altercation with his girlfriend Sunday, the day before he was dismissed for a violation of team rules.
According to a 911 call, Dunn’s girlfriend alleged he struck her. As the Columbus Dispatch reports, the woman filed for a protection order Monday but no charges have been filed in the case as of yet.
Sunday afternoon, the woman, crying uncontrollably, called 911 to say: “My boyfriend hit me really bad.”
The woman said that the man struck her in the mouth and then briefly left her apartment on the Northwest Side. She said she left the apartment and came back, and when he saw she had her phone out “he went crazy.” She said he then choked her and left.
She said her lip was bleeding as well.

Dunn was a possible starter at running back for the Buckeyes after the departure of Ezekiel Elliott to the NFL. Mike Weber becomes the presumed starter in Dunn’s absence.
Dunn, a senior in 2016, had 287 career rushing yards at Ohio State.
