With the college football season inching closer and closer, the game’s pundits are starting to make their predictions about who will make what bowl games.
A quick skim of the big college football preview magazines shows that Oklahoma is getting some College Football Playoff faith from the pros. Both Phil Steele’s 2016 College Football Preview and Sporting News‘ preview issue predict that the Sooner will be in the playoff.
However, both magazines have OU losing in the semifinal. Steele has the CFP No. 3 Sooners falling to No. 2 Alabama in the Peach Bowl while Sporting News has them losing to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl.
Meanwhile, Athlon Sports‘ preview has the Big 12 completely missing the CFP.
