Evander Kane investigated for allegedly harassing women: Report
According to WIVB, Evander Kane of the Buffalo Sabres is reportedly under investigation for two criminal complaints after allegedly ‘physically harassing’ two women. The incident took place late Thursday night at the Buffalo bar Bottoms Up.
From WIVB:
A group, including Kane, had been escorted from the bar Thursday night, according to the owner of Bottom’s Up. It’s not yet clear what crimes Kane is accused of committing.
Buffalo Police are in the preliminary stages of investigating the allegations,” police spokesperson Mike DeGeorge said Friday.
WIVB’s report includes video that allegedly shows Kane at the bar.
The Associated Press added further details of the incident stating, “… Kane allegedly grabbed the woman by the arm or shoulder early Friday morning. The [source] said no charges have been filed and no one has been arrested.”
This isn’t Kane’s first run in with the law in Buffalo. In December 2015, Kane was investigated by police for an alleged ‘sex offense’ at a local hotel. He was later cleared of all wrongdoing by the police.
Puck Daddy requested comment from the Buffalo Sabres regarding the allegations. At the time of publication, the team has not responded to the request.
