Root Sports picks up 2 Lobo football games – Albuquerque Journal
The game at Rutgers on ESPN News will kickoff at 10 a.m. Mountain. ESPN will announce the times and networks for its other Lobo games at a later time.
Two UNM football games were added to the Root Sports schedule, solidifying the school’s 2016 broadcast schedule.
New Mexico has six games on ESPN’s family of networks, three on Root, one on CBS Sports Network and one on AggieVision.
Home games against San Jose State on Oct. 1 (2 p.m.) and Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 22 (7 p.m.) were added to the Root package.
The Sept. 10 UNM-New Mexico State game in Las Cruces will be on AggieVision.
Every Lobo football game is scheduled for broadcast except the Oct. 29 game at Hawaii. However, that game is expected to be shown on Oceanic and made available for stateside broadcast.
