IndyCar’s Newgarden returns to practice at Road America (The Associated Press)
IndyCar driver Josef Newgarden is practicing at Road America, his first time back on a track since breaking his right collarbone in a scary crash at Texas. Newgarden was hurt in a race on June 12 after his car slammed on its side and slid along the frontstretch wall with the top of the cockpit exposed. Medical personnel evaluated Newgarden after the first practice run on Friday at Road America.
