P- Jose Fernandez (vs. Atlanta Braves): $13,700. Fernandez has been lethal on the mound recently. In his last 10 games, he owns a 2.25 ERA, with 91 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched. Jose will be facing one of the worst offenses in baseball, so this should be a great matchup for daily fantasy.
P- Sonny Gray (vs. Milwaukee Brewers): $6,600. Gray pitched incredibly well in his last start until the sixth inning, which he surrendered five funs. In his two starts prior to his last starts (since returning from the DL), he gave up only three runs on 12.2 innings pitched. Over the last seven days, the Brewers’ offense ranks in the bottom third in runs, batting average, OBP, and slugging, so hopefully Gray can take advantage of this struggling offense in his home park.
C- J.T. Realmuto (vs. Bud Norris): $3,700. Over his last seven games, Realmuto is batting .355, with two home runs, and seven RBIs. He is facing a sub-par pitcher, so this should be a good matchup.
1B- Justin Bour (vs. Bud Norris): $3,700. Bour tends to go on hot streaks and it looks like he is on one. In his last 10 games, he is batting .333, with two home runs, eight RBIs, five runs, and a .394 OBP. He is significantly better against right-handed pitching, which is great for Tuesday since he is facing Bud Norris.
2B- Neil Walker (vs. Ian Kennedy): $3,400. In 21 career at bats against Kennedy, Walker is batting .429, with three home runs, nine RBIs, and four XBH. Kennedy has struggled against the Mets lineup, so Walker is a great option for a stack.
3B- Jhonny Peralta (vs. Jason Hammel): $3,800. The Cardinals lineup has destroyed Hammel throughout his career, so Peralta is a great option for a stack. In 23 career at bats against Hammel, Peralta is batting .391, with two home runs, four XBH, eight RBIs, and a .440 OBP.
SS- Carlos Correa (vs. Hector Santiago): $3,800. Correa is coming off another great night in which he hit an absolute massive home run. He is facing a left-handed pitcher in his home park, which is a great park for right-handed bats, which means Correa is a steal at only $3,800.
OF- Andrew McCutchen (vs. Johnny Cueto): $2,900. This is a scary play considering Cueto has been pitching so well, but Cutch has shown quite some success against this right-handed pitcher throughout his career. In 62 career at bats against Cueto, McCutchen is batting .290, with four home runs, nine XBH, six RBIs, and a .371 OBP. His incredibly low price could bring about great upside and lots of versatility for the rest of the lineup.
OF- Carlos Gomez (vs. Hector Santiago): $3,600. Carlos Gomez has finally found his stroke people. Over his last 10 games, he is batting .306, with two home runs, seven RBIs, five runs, two stolen bases, and a .390 OBP. He is facing a left-handed pitcher in his home stadium, which is great for right-handed batters, so this could be a great matchup for his hot bat.
OF- Marcell Ozuna (vs. Bud Norris): $4,700. Ozuna has been on fire over his last 10 games. In that time span, he is batting .351, with two home runs, 10 RBIs, 6 runs, and a .432 OBP. His ability to get on base and hit for power provides a a consistent and safe pick with the ability to put up huge points. He is the perfect fit for a stack against Bud Norris.
