Imposter nuns drink beer, take selfies and dance at Phillies game
It’s not often you spot a nun at a baseball game. They may occasionally frequent a contest between their favorite clubs, but they don’t get into the habit of it. So, when this picture emerged from the Philadelphia Phillies game Monday, people were pretty surprised.
Yes, that appears to be a nun drinking an ice cold Miller Lite while taking a selfie. For a while there, it seemed too good to be true.
Once the nuns got up on the dugout and starting dancing with the Phillie Phanatic, things started to get really suspicious.
As expected, these were not real nuns. Nope, they were performers in the “Sister Act” musical, which is currently playing at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia.
Quite frankly, we should seen it coming from the start. Why would a nun root for the Phillies in a world where the San Diego Padres exist?
