LeBron, J.R., and Kyrie combined for the alley-oop of the playoffs
Game 6 of the NBA Finals has been defined by the tension and performances fans would expect to associate with what could be the final game of the 2015-16 season. Thankfully, that pressure did not keep the Cleveland Cavaliers from pulling off one of the best highlights you’ll see in any NBA game.

With roughly 4:45 remaining in the third quarter and the Cavs up 74-57 on the Golden State Warriors, Kyrie Irving stole the ball from Stephen Curry and threw a high, looping outlet pass to J.R. Smith. The Cavs wing caught it with one hand, took a step, and lofted a perfect alley-oop to a running LeBron James. Take a look:
We’re sure J.R.’s daughter was very proud of him for being on the floor to make this play.
The Warriors went on a 10-0 run to close the period and get back in the game, but this fantastic alley-oop sent a strong message.
