Evgeni Malkin cheers on Cavaliers in Game 6 win over Warriors (Photos)
Quite a week for Evgeni Malkin.
He won the Stanley Cup on Sunday. He had an MRI scheduled for an elbow injury that could be significant. He went to the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Stanley Cup parade on Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, he attended the Cleveland Cavaliers’ emphatic win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
That giant head belongs to Cavs center Timofey Mozgov, a native of St. Petersburg, Russia, and a member of the Russian national basketball team. That’s also Mozgov’s jersey he’s wearing, as seen here with Penguins teammate Trevor Daley at the game:
Malkin, a big hoops fan, posted his image at the Cavs game on his Instagram, which is the best one in the NHL, frankly. Come for the cameo appearances at NBA games, stay for shirtless Geno catching giant fish during the summer.
