Prince Fielder’s home run destroyed this fan’s phone
Prince Fielder’s once prodigious power hasn’t been on display much this season, but it made an appearance Thursday afternoon, which was bad news for a fan sitting in the right field seats in Arlington.
Fielder smashed a home run, his fourth of the season, in the fourth inning of the Rangers’ 5-3 win over Houston, a solo shot that ripped around the right field foul pole and right into an iPhone.

Fox Sports Southwest caught up with the fan, Hope, who was unfortunately on the receiving end of Fielder’s blast. She said had been looking at her phone and instinctively threw up her hands to protect herself when she saw the ball approaching. Then she flashed her busted up phone to the camera.
Let thist stand as proof that Fielder can still do some damage – figuratively and literally – with the bat.
