Team Penske sweeps front row in Pocono qualifying
The Team Penske cars will be leading the field to green at Pocono on Sunday.
Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano posted the two fastest speeds of the final round of Friday’s qualifying session and will start on the front row on Sunday. It’s the first career pole at Pocono for Keselowski and his 12th-career top starting spot. It’s the sixth time Logano has started on the front row in 2016.
Denny Hamlin also continued his streak of qualifying for the final round of qualifying in every race this season. Hamlin starts 10th, third of four Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas. All four Gibbs cars qualified for the final round along with three Stewart-Haas Racing cars, the two Team Penske cars and three cars from Hendrick Motorsports.
