Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook arrested for trespassing
Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook was arrested Monday on a charge of criminal trespassing in his hometown of Cameron, Texas.
Per the Norman Transcript, Westbrook was released approximately three hours after he was booked.
According to a Milan County (Texas) Jail spokesperson, Westbrook was booked into the jail at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. His bond was approved and he was released at 2:15 p.m.
“We are aware of the situation and are addressing it internally,” OU spokesman Mike Houck said.
There are no details currently available regarding the circumstances of Westbrook’s arrest. He posted to Twitter on Tuesday about going fishing.

Westbrook is Oklahoma’s leading returning receiver in 2016. He was the team’s second-leading pass catcher in 2015 behind Sterling Shepard with 46 catches for 743 yards and four touchdowns.
Westbrook transferred to OU from Blinn College following the 2014 season.
