LeBron soars for Dunk Contest-quality two-handed reverse in Game 2
LeBron James has made it very clear over the years that, despite charitable challenges and incentives offered by millionaire moguls, he will never enter the Slam Dunk Contest at the NBA’s annual All-Star Weekend showcase. It is a defensible decision that, really, needs no defense — the man has his reasons, and it’s not like LeBron doesn’t have enough to do during All-Star Weekend anyway — but you can forgive fans for being a bit bummed out that we’ll never seen the King take flight on All-Star Saturday Night.

I mean, who wouldn’t like to see what he’d cook up in a contest if this is what he comes up with on the fly in the second quarter of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals?
Just your totally casual, garden-variety heady help defense, steal, court-to-court runout, one-foot takeoff from the hashmark, explode-up-like-The-Incredible-Hulk for a windmill two-hand reverse. Pretty standard stuff, really.
It’s like Fansided’s Jared Wade wrote: LeBron’s attacking the rim this postseason like he never has before, and we — well, those of us who aren’t Toronto Raptors fans, anyway — are reaping all the benefits. Throw your imaginary 50s in the sky if you feel the vibe.
