Andre Iguodala’s no-look layup was insane, even for the Warriors
When you think of the Golden State Warriors and insane shot-making, you probably think first about back-to-back NBA Most Valuable Player and 402-3s-in-a-single-season superstar Stephen Curry, or perhaps All-Star flamethrower Klay Thompson. Late in the first half of Wednesday’s Game 2 of the Western Conference finals against the Oklahoma City Thuner, though, Andre Iguodala cemented himself as one of the team’s most inventive shot-makers with a layup that you might well see on highlight reels for years to come:

After forcing a Russell Westbrook turnover, Iguodala raced out on the break. Draymond Green flung the ball ahead to Curry, who tried to send it cross-court to Thompson in the far corner for a transition 3. Westbrook batted the ball down, but it bounced right to Iguodala, who gathered, maneuvered through Westbrook’s swiped, brought the ball down, and spun it up with plenty of English toward the backboard while looking straight down at the court, only to see — or, better yet, not see — the ball carom high off the window and down through the net, sending the crowd at Oracle Arena into hysterics.
The no-look finish was the highlight of the 11-2 run the Warriors put on the Thunder to take a 57-49 lead into halftime. It also put a pretty satisfying bow on a strong first half for the 2015 NBA Finals MVP, who scored nine points, snagged three steals and grabbed two rebounds in 16 1/2 minutes of play off the bench, during which Golden State outscored the Thunder by nine points.
