Johnny Cueto channels Happy Gilmore with amazing running swing

San Francisco Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto plays baseball with his own thoroughly awesome style. For proof, all you have to do is look at his unique pitching motion, which includes a delightful shimmy. 

Now Cueto has introduced a new element of awesomeness to his game: his swing. In the sixth inning of the Giants’ game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday, Cueto unveiled a running swing that is a sight to behold.

Does that swing look familiar? Does it feel like you’ve seen it before, perhaps in a slightly different context? Well, if you’ve seen the movie “Happy Gilmore,” then you’ve definitely seen that swing before.

If Happy Gilmore played baseball, he’d swing a bat just like Johnny Cueto. Does anyone know if Cueto plays golf? Because that would really fun to watch.
