This just goes to show you, even when your the coolest dude on the planet — the first unanimous NBA MVP in history — you can still feel like the world’s biggest dweeb when someone leaves you hanging.  

When that someone is NBA commissioner Adam Silver — probably not the first guy on anyone’s list of cool dudes — and the handshake faux pas comes in front of 20,000 spectators at your second straight MVP ceremony — then you can only look at your buddies and laugh. Which is what Stephen Curry did.

C’mon, man, you can’t do the dude whose $400 MVP edition shoe line just sold out in a matter of hours like that. Silver saw the error of his ways, circling back to Steph after the ceremony. The two shared a laugh about it, and the NBA posted proof to Instagram with the tagline: “finally get the dap right.”

Hey, at least Silver didn’t act like he was stuck in detention during the ceremony, like the Warriors were:
