Washington State’s Mike Leach endorses Donald Trump (Video)
Mike Leach has never been afraid to speak his mind.
On Saturday, the Washington State coach threw his hat into the political ring by publicly endorsing Donald Trump for president at a rally in Spokane, Washington.

Before offering his endorsement for the presumptive Republican nominee for the upcoming election, Leach detailed his relationship with Trump, which spans the last decade.

Leach also made it clear that he was attending the rally and speaking for himself, not on behalf of Washington State. The university reiterated this (without specifically mentioning Leach) in a public statement.
Leach is entering his fifth season as the Cougars’ head coach. WSU had its best season under Leach in 2015 – a 9-4 record that included a Sun Bowl victory over Miami.
