Recruit commits to Clemson in hilarious tree-chopping video
Logan Rudolph may have just set the bar for commitment videos.
Rudolph, a three-star defensive end in the class of 2017, announced his verbal commitment to Clemson Friday night by posting a video to his Twitter account. It wasn’t just any video, however. The Rock Hill, South Carolina, native was chopping down a tree in cutoff jean shorts while listening to “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins.

Legendary.
He didn’t need any crazy theatrics like we’ve seen from commitment videos in the past. Just a bit of personality and a quick “thank you” to his family and coaches. Well done.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Rudolph becomes the tenth verbal commitment in Clemson’s 2017 class. He chose the in-state Tigers over dozens of other offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, USC and others.
