Iman Shumpert hammers home monster putback dunk on Hawks in Game 3
Iman Shumpert missed the first 21 games of the 2015-16 NBA season after hitting his wrist on the rim in the course of a preseason dunk. Evidently, the Cleveland Cavaliers swingman hasn’t forgotten the pain rims have caused him, and early in the second quarter of Game 3 of the Cavs’ Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Atlanta Hawks, he set out to take his vengeance:

OK, so, update to the scouting report, Jeff Teague: get a body on that dude when the shot goes up.
On the plus side for the Hawks, at least Shump’s super-loud putback wasn’t a 3-pointer … though I suppose we’ll have to wait until after the game for a referendum on its professionalism and level of class. In the meantime, we’ll just offer a quick salute to the Cavs’ high-topped high-riser. You’ve made both Baby Junie and Johnny Bravo quite proud.
