Police: Alabama LB Reuben Foster was at scene of triple shooting
Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was at a nightclub in Auburn, Alabama, when a triple murder took place there a week ago according to police.
Foster is a native of Auburn and police say he was not involved in the shooting that killed three men on April 23. From AL.com:
Auburn police learned from other attendees “way after the fact” that Foster was at Mr. D’s Lodge the night of the shooting, he said.
“There was no information that he or any other athletes were involved in the actual shooting itself,” Register said.
The shooting allegedly stemmed from an argument that happened in the nightclub. A man, Tarabien Latrent Cobb, has been arrested and charged with murder in the three deaths. He’s a relative of Recco Cobb, one of the men killed in the shooting.
