Well, Donald Trump has chimed in on Tom Brady and his suspension

On Monday morning, after a federal appeals court reinstated Tom Brady’s four-game suspension for deflate-gate, everyone remembered how infatuated they were with that controversy and felt the need to opine on the latest development.

You didn’t think Donald Trump would be the only one sitting it out, did you?

The Associated Press reported that Trump gave his opinion at a rally in Warwick, R.I. on Monday.

“Leave Tom Brady alone,” Trump said.

Trump and Brady have a friendship that goes back a ways. Brady has sidestepped whether he endorses Trump as a candidate to be President of the United States, probably because Brady has usually avoided any controversial stances in his career. But he has said Trump is his friend and he supports his friends. He had a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker last season, which led to questions about Brady’s political leanings for this presidential race.

Trump had his buddy’s back on Monday, saying Brady is a “great guy” and “it’s enough,” according to the AP.
