Cubs fan rushes field to celebrate Jake Arrieta’s no-hitter
Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta threw a no-hitter on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Reds, his second in less than a year. It was an impressive feat, and all of his teammates wanted to celebrate with him once the third out was caught.

But someone unexpected joined the Cubs in their ecstatic jumping and hugging. Can you spot him?
The guy wearing the white jersey, backwards cap, and decidedly non-regulation khaki shorts looks different than the other guys in blue, and that’s because he is different – he’s a fan! Yes, a very, very excited Cubs fan ran onto the field to celebrate Arrieta’s no-hitter with his favorite team.

Of course, shortly after he joins the melee, he’s taken away by a Cincinnati police officer. Because while running onto the field might be fun, it’s 100% not allowed. The fan, a 22-year-old named Dylan Cressy, was arrested and charged with “criminal trespass for entering the field area without permission” according to TMZ.
But let’s tip our caps to this crazy Cubs fan. Running onto the field (even to celebrate with your favorite team) isn’t something anyone should ever do, but it’s something many people have dreamed of. And that Cubs fan lived the dream.
