Sharks fan celebrates LA Kings OT win, is extraordinarily confused (Video)
The Los Angeles Kings defeated the San Jose Sharks in overtime, 2-1, on Monday night, pulling to within 2-1 in their best-of-seven series.
Sharks fan: “YEEEEEAHHHH! WOOO-HOOO! HOOOORAAAAY!”
Um, what?
This was the scene at the Kings’ bench when Tanner Pearson scored the game-winner at 3:47 of overtime. As you can see, they’re very happy with the result.
As you can also see, so is a San Jose Sharks fan seated at the glass behind them, who leaps into the air in celebration, before realizing her team lost, before inexplicably celebrating again for a brief moment, before covering it up with a ‘hey, wha happened?!’ move with her hands.
Another look:
Please note the Sharks fans seated around her exhibiting the enthusiasm of an oral surgery waiting room.
In fairness, the game was so intense that no one can be sure how one’s emotions will manifest when it abruptly ends. Or perhaps she was just rooting for the team from California. That too.
