LSU closes out spring ball with dance off (Videos)
For the fifth straight year, LSU football welcomed students inside Tiger Stadium for “Student Day.” LSU students were able to tour the team’s locker room and watch the team practice before taking part in some on-field drills with the Tigers.
Included in the day was a team dance off, pitting the offense against the defense.
Things got intense:
Head coach Les Miles was clearly impressed, especially when he saw 280-pound lineman Alex Cheramie deftly bust out the worm.
That’s definitely a fun way for the team to wrap up a day of practice ahead of Saturday’s spring game at Tiger Stadium. Miles certainly appreciates the student support, too.
“This is an event that I look forward to each year,” Miles said. “I’m not sure who enjoys its more – the players or the students.
“I say it all the time, we have great student support and our student body makes Tiger Stadium a great place on Saturday nights in the fall. This is just a small way of saying thanks and letting them know how much we appreciate their support.”
Saturday’s spring game kicks off at 3 p.m. CT.
