Daily Fantasy Soccer: DFS Soccer Week 34
Thursday, April 14, 2016
Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I’m back at it again with the Premier League prep and hoping to get everyone prepared for the upcoming week! We have a headlining match this week of Chelsea – Manchester City, which should be action packed despite Chelsea’s struggles this season. Let’s look at all the matches:
Newcastle – Swansea City
Manchester United – Aston Villa
West Brom – Watford
Everton – Southampton
Chelsea – Manchester City
Goalkeepers
DraftKings
This is unlike any slate I’ve seen in recent weeks. David De Gea is by far the best choice at goalkeeper this week and there isn’t anyone even close. In cash games, he is the obvious choice, unless someone becomes available around the $3000 range with a nice matchup. The Chelsea – Manchester City match might be a bit too dangerous for goalkeepers either way, and there isn’t much to like in the other teams where one can be trusted. De Gea will be heavily owned, and with good purpose.
In GPPs, the odds like Fabianski, Forster, and Gomes, with Fabianski being the highest rated according to odds and price.
Strikers
DraftKings
Since strikers aren’t priced accordingly to odds, we have some discrepancy this week. The odds LOVE Wayne Rooney and youngster Rashford and both are great GPP options assuming they start. Rashford can be considered in cash at his price, and he will give you a good exposure to Manchester City against a very, very weak Aston Villa side.
Sergio Aguero, the highest priced forward, is a GPP only options in a road matchup against Chelsea. He should be largely low owned, and could present a very interesting GPP option. Diego Costa and Romelu Lukaku are similarly GPP options. On the cheap side of things, there are Berahino and Rondon, who both get a great matchup against Watford and can be considered in cash games at their price.
Good luck this weekend!
