Cardale Jones Twitter rants about the NCAA’s unfair treatment
Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones decided Monday would be a good day to pop off on the NCAA for what he classifies as unfair treatment of student-athletes.
In a series of tweets, Jones said the NCAA “controlled lives” and has unfairly limited student-athletes from making a profit off their likenesses.

I’m so happy to be done with the @NCAA and their rules & regulation. They do any & everything to exploited collegiate athletes.

It’s deeper than athletes thinking we should get paid. The @NCAA control our lives with insane and unfair rules.

Why shouldn’t a collegiate athlete be able to use their OWN likeness/brand to benefit themselves but yet the @NCAA can sell there jerseys🤔

That’s my 2cent on the @NCAA .It’s not like that’s going to change how the athletes are exploited, even tho 98% of people feel the same way

This is the same Cardale Jones who once tweeted, “Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain’t come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS.”
And also the same Cardale Jones who decided to forgo millions in NFL dollars a year ago to stay another season under the oppressive thumb of the NCAA.
Look, Jones isn’t reinventing the wheel here. Many players — former, current and future — have had choice words about the NCAA and many are recently taking to social media because of the NCAA’s decision to ban satellite camps. And many make good points about reasons why the ban is unfair.
However, no matter what you might think of the NCAA or the rules it places on student-athletes, Jones is probably not be the best mouthpiece for a crusade against the establishment.
