3 men arrested for allegedly stealing jerseys from Florida locker room
Three men allegedly stole jerseys from Florida’s locker room before the Gators’ spring game on Friday night.
According to GatorSports.com, the three are accused of taking two jerseys from the locker room approximately 2.5 hours before the 7 p.m. game started.
Reagan Harrison Dean, 21, of 7043 SW 128th St. in Ocala; Jeremy Bruce Agee, 24, of 5830 SW 89th Place in Ocala; and Stephen Paul Collazo, 35, of 8023 SW 67th Lane in Gainesville, were charged with felony-level burglary and theft, according to arrest reports.
UF spokeswoman Janine Sikes said none of the men are affiliated with the university.

It’s unclear from the police report how the men were able to access the locker room. We also wonder whose jerseys they allegedly went after. Did they go for recognizable players or figure if they took a jersey of a player that many casual fans wouldn’t recognize they’d have a chance of not getting caught for the alleged theft?
This is isn’t the first alleged theft surrounding Florida football in recent memory either. New Mexico State had items stolen while the Aggies were playing the Gators in September.
