David Price is having trouble getting beloved dog Astro to Boston
David Price had no absolutely no troubles on the mound in his Boston Red Sox debut, racking up 10 strikeouts over six innings and allowing just two runs in a victory over Cleveland. Getting his beloved dog Astro to his new home in Boston, however, is a different story.
Since Price’s days with the Tampa Bay Rays, Astro, a French bulldog, has been by his side. It was safe to assume it wouldn’t be long before Astro joined Price in Boston, but it appears a Delta Airlines policy is forcing the All-Star left-hander to change his plans.

Fortunately for Price, some of his new friends are willing to help. Red Sox mascot Wally has offered to drive Astro to Boston if that’s what it takes.
It remains to be seen if Astro will be in Boston when Price’s makes his first Fenway Park start for the Red Sox on Monday, but at least it shouldn’t be much longer before Price is reunited with his best friend.
