The 10-man rotation, starring the mess D’Angelo Russell has made
A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It’s also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren’t always listed in order of importance. That’s for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: The Sporting News, USA TODAY, the Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Daily News. Sean Gentille, Sam Amick, Bill Plaschke and Vincent Bonsignore on L’Affaire D’Angelo Russell, where the rookie and the Los Angeles Lakers can go from here, and what Kobe Bryant might or might not have to say about the embarrassing matter.

PF: SB Nation. Mike Prada talks to Steve Clifford and Marvin Williams about what’s changed with the Charlotte Hornets’ offense this year, and digs into the tape to interrogate their claim that the answer is, “Not much at all, really.”
SF: ESPN.com. Zach Lowe on the joyless Cleveland Cavaliers, who apparently don’t know who they are right now any more than we do.
SG: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. After watching him rack up triple-doubles and unlock his game after being given the keys lately, Jason Kidd made it official Tuesday: he’s planning to open up next season with Giannis Antetokounmpo as the Milwaukee Bucks’ starting point guard.
PG: BBall Breakdown. When people look to poke holes in Stephen Curry’s game, the first place they go is his defense. The problem with that, as Coach Nick claims, is that he’s actually pretty good on that end now.
6th: SFGate. Whether Steph’s an elite defender or not, the Warriors as a team have been pretty average on that side of the ball of late, which doesn’t make Steve Kerr and Ron Adams particularly happy heading into the playoffs. (The good news: Golden State’s defense will probably get a whole lot better once Andre Iguodala and Festus Ezeli return from their injuries.)
7th: The Toronto Star. Bruce Arthur on why Kyle Lowry getting his right elbow drained is causing nightmares in Toronto: “For all the changes this team has made, for all the improvements and chemistry and accomplishments, the Raptors don’t matter without a healthy Kyle Lowry.”
8th: D-League Digest. Late to this interesting consideration of D-League expansion in a climate in which salaries stay flat: “There will be 30 teams in the D-League eventually, but will there be enough talent to make the NBADL a successful product?”
9th: Salt City Hoops. How have the Utah Jazz become a middle-of-the-pack offensive team despite playing two traditional bigs at a plodding pace without a dynamite point guard? By embracing the 3-point shot just a bit more.
10th: Posting and Toasting. So, what’s going on with Kurt Rambis’ decision to move Arron Afflalo to the bench?
