Gretzky gives Bieber a jersey; therefore, Canada has to keep singer
It’s official – CANADA HAS TO KEEP JUSTIN BIEBER.
Way back when, hockey’s ancestors spoke of a future time when “The Great One” would bequeath upon a bleached blonde Canadian pixie an Edmonton Oilers jersey with the pixie’s name on the back. For when the gifted hockey sweater is worn, the Canadian sprite, known as “The Biebs,” is thereby bound to return to his native land; never to return again.
At Wayne Gretzky’s Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas, the prophecy foretold by the elders came true as Justin Bieber, in town for his “The Purpose Tour,” met up with Gretzky and received a gift. It was an Oilers jersey with the No. 6 on the back. Instead of the injured Adam Pardy, the nameplate read, “Bieber.”
When the “Baby” singer took to the stage later, he was wearing the jersey given to him by Gretzky, as documented in this photo.
No word if No. 99 was the one who took the photo while standing among the throng of pre-teen girls who think he is just someone’s weird dad.
Either way, prophecy complete. Bieber must return to Canada posthaste.
