University of Tulsa coach Frank Haith secured perhaps the final piece to his team’s Class of 2016 recruiting puzzle with a commitment Wednesday night from a junior college shooting guard.

Jaleel Wheeler, whose commitment was first reported by JucoRecruiting.com, ranked ninth among junior college players this season in scoring, averaging 22.3 points per game as a sophomore at Kilgore (Texas) College. He shot 50.7 percent from the field, including 39.5 percent on 3-pointers.
