Pacers' George leaves game with bruised leg
Pacers forward Paul George bruised his right leg during Indiana’s 92-84 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday night.
The Pacers originally listed George’s return as questionable, but the three-time All-Star did not return to action.
Pacers coach Frank Vogel said after the game that George was day-to-day and called the injury a lower leg contusion.
“He’s moving around,” Vogel said. “He’ll be OK.”
George left the court with under 5 minutes to play in the third quarter. He said after the game that he “just got kneed” and hoped it was “nothing serious.”
George had 15 points and four rebounds at the time when he left.
