Arizona coach Sean Miller could probably use a new shirt
Participating in the NCAA tournament is an exciting but stressful experience for all involved, from players to coaches to referees to fans. For the most part, though, everyone does a good job of keeping their cool apart from the occasional technical foul or sideline freakout.
Like many coaches, Arizona Wildcats head coach Sean Miller is under considerable pressure to win his team’s first-round game against the No. 11 seed Wichita St. Shockers. He’s showing it, too, because Miller sweated straight through his shirt after fewer than 10 minutes of the contest. Take a look:
It was noticeable enough that Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith poked fun at Miller at halftime on TNT. Try the darker color next time, Coach. Everyone had plenty of fun with it on social media, too:
Here’s hoping he can at least get an anti-perspirant endorsement out of this incident.
To Miller’s credit, he did put on a new shirt at halftime. It suffered the same fate. Arizona didn’t fare much better — Wichita St. won by a comfortable 65-55 margin. It was bad enough to inspire two “Crying Jordan” memes for Miller’s shirt:
Jokes aside, Miller deserves notice for adopting a much healthier lifestyle recently to lose weight and improve his health. This isn’t his best look, but it’s probably not cause for serious concern.
