Gut and Kilde win super-G titles at World Cup finals (The Associated Press)
Lara Gut of Switzerland won the season-long super-G title on Thursday, while Aleksander Aamodt Kilde triumphed in the men’s event, continuing Norway’s domination of the discipline. Gut, who had already secured the overall title, finished second behind Tina Weirather at the World Cup finals to overtake the injured Lindsey Vonn for the crystal globe. Cornelia Huetter was third fastest to end the season fourth in the super-G standings, just behind Vonn, who was in St. Moritz after flying in to pick up her downhill title on Wednesday.
