Green maple leaf on new Blue Jays caps resembles a different leaf
Toronto Blue Jays fans were electric last season. That will happen when the team breaks its lengthy playoff curse, and its star player provides the franchise with one of the greatest home runs of all-time. While that moment was the pinnacle of excitement for fans, the boisterous crowds screamed support for their club all season.

While a club would normally embrace that level of crazy from fans, the Blue Jays seem to be sending a different message with their new “St. Patty’s” caps. That message is, “mellow out and enjoy the game, dude.”
Normally, we’re big fans of the Blue Jays maple leaf logo. It’s clean, looks classic and finds a way to represent an entire country. That’s pretty cool. On a blue background, the usually red logo looks excellent. When you color it green, however, it takes on a completely different meaning.
If you’re a certain kind of Blue Jays fan, or a fan of recreational drugs legally available in Denver and Seattle, you can pick up one of these caps at Lids.com.

If there’s an upside here, it’s that these caps won’t just be fashionable on one day in March. It would also make sense to wear them once in late April.
