Cam Newton’s hat is large enough to host its own Super Bowl
When last we saw Cam Newton after the Super Bowl, he looked like he wanted to curl up and hide away from the world. Thursday night at the Lakers-Cavs game, he wore a hat large enough to let him do just that:
Newton, of course, is no stranger to bold fashion choices; he regularly wears non-regulation cleats before games, and his postgame attire is a mishmash of styles that collide harder than Von Miller on a defenseless QB (too soon?). Anyway, here’s Cam’s hat and Cam meeting one LeBron James:
Look, anyone with a soul would feel bad for Newton and the rest of the Panthers, getting so close to the Super Bowl and then falling apart. But spare a little sympathy for the poor soul who had to sit behind Cam, having spent what surely were thousands of dollars for near-courtside seats.
