Has Eddie Lacy lost weight? Photo evidence seems pretty strong
Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy was too big last year. So said the team’s brass, and head coach Mike McCarthy seemed especially perturbed by Lacy’s lack of conditioning.

When the offer came in less than six week ago to Lacy from P90X founder Tony Horton to work out with him, we were not sure what Lacy would do. He told Shutdown Corner a year ago that last offseason he spent a lot of time at home eating mom’s good cooking.
But it appears that not only has Lacy taken Horton up on the offer but that he might be seeing some real gains — sorry, losses — from the work. Check out the photo on the Facebook page of Horton’s training partner, Tony Stephenson (via TMZ):
It’s hard to tell, but it does appear that Lacy has shed some pounds from his face and from his midsection, which was appearing quite a bit bigger midseason.
Last week at the combine, McCarthy said: “I have great confidence that both Eddie and Davante [Adams] that they’ll come back ripping and rearing and ready to go. They’ve been productive for us in their young careers and I think they have great days ahead of them.”
It’s a long way off until August, but let’s hope Lacy keeps it up.
