Watch Steph Curry’s bomb to beat Thunder recreated in ‘NBA 2K16’
I’m not really done watching Stephen Curry’s game-winning overtime bomb from Saturday night’s thriller, and I’m guessing you’re not either, so let’s enjoy ourselves with a recreation of the 32-footer to vanquish the Oklahoma City Thunder in “NBA 2K16,” courtesy of video editor/mix maker @Shady00018:

Now, as some have noted, it’s not a perfect shot-for-shot remake — in real life, Thunder big man Enes Kanter was on the bench for the game-tilting possession, and it was Andre Roberson, not Russell Westbrook, who was just a bit too late in contesting Curry’s beyond-deep heave. But, then, some level of imperfection was to be expected — after all, creating a reality that proves too strange for video-game fiction is kind of Steph’s thing — and a bit of roster shuffling doesn’t take away how neat it is that in 2016 we can relive these sorts of real-life moments in uncanny-valley-level digital detail.
Then again, nothing’s better than the real thing, right?
… Yep, still amazing and, to this point, pretty much unguardable. Ain’t that right, coach Steve Kerr?

Zing! Sounds like a “2K” showdown between Oscar Robertson and Steve Kerr might be up next.
