Boozer rallies to win Sensational Star at Santa Anita (The Associated Press)

Boozer rallied from third with a quarter-mile to go to win the $100,000 Sensational Star Stakes for older horses by a head Saturday at Santa Anita. Ridden by Hall of Famer Gary Stevens, Boozer ran 6 1/2 furlongs on the downhill turf course in 1:13.03 and paid $14, $6.60 and $2.40 for trainer Mark Glatt. Richard’s Boy returned $11.60 and $7, while Forest Chatter was another length back in third and paid $3 to show as the 8-5 favorite.
