Alpine skiing-Vonn crashes out of super-G race (Reuters)
World Cup leader Lindsey Vonn crashed out of Saturday’s super-G race in Andorra and was taken off the slope on a sled after receiving medical attention at the side of the course. No immediate information was available on the American’s condition but her team quoted an eyewitness on Twitter as saying the “fall wasn’t hard”. Vonn, chasing her fifth overall World Cup title, was leading by 0.32 seconds when she appeared to lean too far into a turn and slid into the safety fencing.
