‘Fuller House’ is finally out and an MLB star has a cameo
the modern update of the classic TGIF sitcom “Full House,” premiered Friday on Netflix, which normally wouldn’t be news we’d cover on a baseball blog, except for this key fact — one episode features Stephanie Tanner dating an MLB star. “Fuller House,”

“Fuller House” brings back many of themes of the original, right down to the San Francisco home that the Tanners lived in. So that should be your first clue as to which baseball player might have the hots for Steph. Or at the very least, which team he plays for.
Turns out, it’s Hunter Pence, the San Francisco Giants’ charismatic outfielder — which is a good choice because we can’t imagine what Danny Tanner and Madison Bumgarner would talk about. Likewise for Uncle Jesse and Buster Posey.
Part of Pence’s episode was filmed between innings at a Giants game last season, with actress Jodie Sweetin (who plays Stephanie) singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” The Giants played the Dodgers and, if you follow baseball closely, you might remember that Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brett Anderson wasn’t thrilled when the lines between baseball and “Fuller House” filming blurred.
Nonetheless, Pence seems to be happy about his cameo:

The best “Full House” baseball take-off, though, remains the Giants’ “Full Clubhouse” video from last summer. If you’ve never seen it, now’s the time. It also features Pence.
Now, they owe the Internet a version of “Fuller Clubhouse” with new additions Johnny Cueto, Jeff Samardzija and Denard Span.
