Badgers football: UW picks up commitment from in-state offensive lineman – Madison.com
The University of Wisconsin picked up its second in-state commitment for the 2017 recruiting class Monday night when Menomonie offensive lineman Alex Fenton pledged to the Badgers, according to WQOW News in Eau Claire.
Per 247sports, Fenton visited UW over the weekend and was offered during the Badgers’ Junior Day on Jan. 23.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Fenton becomes UW’s third commitment for the 2017 class. He’s the second offensive lineman in the class (Kayden Lyles) and the second in-state prospect to join (Aaron Vopal).
