Daily Fantasy College Basketball Strategy: FanDuel value picks for Saturday, Feb. 20 – Sporting News
Arguably the nation’s most talented and competitive conference, the ACC comes heavily into focus with our sleeper picks for Saturday afternoon’s schedule of NCAA hoops. Four of the five value DFS options listed below hail from the Atlantic Coast and present plenty of upside for the cost.
The following players, consisting of three forwards and two guards who each hold a price tag of $6,500 or less, are not necessarily a group that should all be on a single roster, but rather suggestions that have the potential to outperform their respective low costs. Use this strategy when putting together your own lineup for FanDuel contests.

Donte Grantham, F, Clemson at N.C. State ($6,100)
Grantham is having a nice February for the Tigers, as he has reached double-digit points in four of five games this month. During that stretch, the sophomore forward has averaged 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 treys, resulting in 21.5 FanDuel points per contest. N.C. State has allowed opponents to score 81.5 points per game while dropping three of their past four, so Grantham could have plenty of open looks.
Tyler Lydon, F, Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh ($6,000)
Lydon was a modest contributor for the Orange in Wednesday’s loss at Louisville, but he was a major factor in five straight victories prior to that setback. During that recent winning streak, the 6-8 freshman posted per-game marks of 13.8 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 55.8 percent from the field overall and 9-of-18 from beyond the arc.
Matthew Fisher-Davis, F, Vanderbilt vs. Georgia ($5,900)
Our lone non-ACC sleeper for Saturday afternoon, Fisher-Davis has been cooking for the Commodores of late. The sharpshooting swingman has combined for 49 points over Vandy’s past three games, doing most of his damage from downtown. He has connected on 13-of-27 three-point attempts while collecting 12 rebounds and six assists in that brief stint.
Devon Bookert, G, Florida State at Virginia Tech ($6,300)
Back to the ACC, Bookert continues what should be an easily noticeable trend with this group of DFS sleepers. The senior guard has been in a groove for the Seminoles, scoring 15, 14 and 15 points, respectively, across the past three games while sinking 8-of-15 shots from long range. Bookert has added 3.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals per contest in that same span.
Trey Lewis, G, Louisville vs. Duke ($5,500)
Lewis has been anything but consistent this season, but he’s on an upward swing right now. The senior is averaging 13.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 treys over the Cardinals’ past four games. During this stretch, Lewis has scored at least 11 points each time out while shooting an even 50.0 percent from the floor overall.
