Welcome to the Trade Deadline live blog. I’ll be here until the action stops, which may be until the wee hours of the morning. Here we go.

While Dwight Howard is likely on the move today, the Celtics aren’t willing to break the bank to get him or Al Horford from the Hawks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. It sounds like the Hawks have put everyone on the block, but only if they get a deal too good to be true, while the Rockets just want to unload Howard before losing him for nothing via free agency. The Celtics covet an experienced big man, especially with Kelly Olynyk‘s shoulder injury leaving his near future in doubt.
Mirza Teletovic has been linked to the Bucks, according to Marc Stein, but playing time might be tough for him to come by behind guys like Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker. Just like in Phoenix, Teletovic would simply be a 3-point specialist in Milwaukee.
The Kings are said to be interested in Iman Shumpert from the Cavaliers, according to the Sacramento Bee. If this were to happen, Ben McLemore would likely be on his way out of Sacramento to Cleveland, with Kosta Koufos also thrown into the deal. Timofey Mozgov would also likely be heading to the Kings, but none of these guys would see a real boost in their new homes if it were to happen.
Ricky Rubio is a hot topic in Minnesota and it sounds like the Knicks are among the suitors, per the New York Post. It doesn’t sound like the Wolves are actively trying to move Rubio, but if the right offer comes along he could be gone. The Knicks would like to improve at point guard today and Rubio would be a pretty hefty upgrade over Jose Calderon and Langston Galloway.
The Rockets turned down a deal that would have sent Dwight Howard to the Hornets for Al Jefferson and Spencer Hawes, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News. While that doesn’t look like a great deal for the Rockets, it appears they’re bent on moving Howard today so they won’t lose him without anything in return over the summer. This is not the last time you’ll see Howard’s name today.
Trey Burke is likely on the move out of Utah and could be going to Houston for Ty Lawson, according to Marc Stein. With Raul Neto, Alec Burks and (next year) Dante Exum, they simply don’t need what Burke offers. Don’t expect Burke to see a boost in value if he’s traded. Ty Lawson is the prime target thus far for the Jazz, and the Rockets may end up waiving Lawson if they can’t get a deal done.
