NFL stars enjoy a night at the Grammy Awards
Some NFL players are living it up thus far this offseason.
To wit: on Monday night, three of the game’s biggest names were in Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards. Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller had Twitter buzzing for his sartorial choice – the 26-year old Denver Broncos linebacker wore a silvery, patterned jacket with a dark blue tie that matched his pants. He finished the look with white sneakers, natch.
On Saturday night, Miller was part of Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Edition” skit, trying to explain recently-discovered gravitational waves by poking fun at the Carolina Panthers’ Cam Newton.
Miller and San Francisco 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin, who was named this year’s NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year during the NFL Honors ceremony, appeared on stage together to introduce the performance by country star Carrie Underwood and crossover artist Sam Hunt.
Unlike Miller, Boldin went with a standard black tuxedo for the night.
Also on the red carpet: Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. WIlson accompanied his girlfriend, R&B singer Ciara. While Ciara wore a slit-to-there, backless gown, Wilson, like Boldin, chose a pretty basic tuxedo.
And thus ends today’s Shutdown Corner Red Carpet Report.
