No. 1 Star: Milan Lucic, Los Angeles Kings
The former Boston Bruins bruiser scored one goal, added an assist and was a plus-2 in return to the place he called home for eight years. The Kings drubbed the Bruins 9-2, firing 57 shots on goal. The last time the Bruins allowed that many shots on goal was March 18, 1965 against the Detroit Red Wings.
No. 2 Star: Ben Scrivens, Montreal Canadiens
The goaltender Stopped 37 of 39 shots on goal to deliver a crucial 4-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Habs have won three straight games – all victories by Scrivens. During shat stretch, Scrivens has allowed four goals on 98 shots on goal. Montreal is three points out of the final Eastern Conference Wild Card spot.
No. 3 Star: Alex Petrovic, Florida Panthers
The defenseman scored a goal, added an assist and got into three fights with Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane in a 7-4 victory. The win gave Florida points in 10 straight road games against Buffalo, dating back to Oct. 29, 2011. They’re 8-0-2 in hat stretch. The first place Panthers improved to 32-16-6.
