Giants released LT Will Beatty.

The Giants are starting to purge the roster of overpaid veterans. Beatty joins RG Geoff Schwartz and MLB Jon Beason on the street, as all three were cut Wednesday morning. Beatty missed the entire 2015 season after suffering a torn pectoral last May. He also underwent rotator cuff surgery toward the end of the year. Beatty will turn 31 next month. The Giants save $4.175 million with the move and will surge forward with Ereck Flowers on Eli Manning’s blind side. Feb 10 – 11:47 AM
